Tasting Note:

A vineyard with a great reputation for making red wine, this stunning Clos has poorer soils than the Morgeot for example and results in finer wine. In the hands of the Pillots this must make for some of the best red Chassagne there is, excellent, really fine and creamy with none of the harshness that you can get from some Chassagne, almost Volnay like, lovely sweet Alpine strawberry, mulberry, loganberry and sloe fruit aromatic, very ripe and smooth but lifting, a real seducer.
