Tasting Note:

Gorgeous floral notes, a vivid Pinot nose; smooth, open and seductive. Juicy, fruity, vibrant and balanced. Wonderful open flavours of cherry, raspberry and damson. There is very little new oak influence here. The tannins are so suave and velvety. A beauty. A vineyard with a great reputation for making red wine, this stunning Clos has poorer soils than many of the other, more clay dominated, vineyards in Chassagne, such as Morgeot, and the result is wines of greater finesse.
