Chambertin boosted by a mineral grip and energy. Edgy notes of crushed rocks complement and add focus to the crystal clear, floral cherry and strawberry fruit. Long, refined and radiant. Breathtaking. Christophe Perrot-Minot has a stunning parcel of old vines in the prime Haut part of Charmes, opposite Rousseau’s Chambertin. There is much less clay here than further down the slope. This gives a very refined wine.
