Tasting Note:

A different beast to the Charmes-Chambertin. More expansive and broader in flavour. Rich, svelte, corpulent and enveloping sweet berry and plum fruits. Long and sensual, a crowd-pleaser. A parcel of 60 year-old vines from the prime “Haut” part of the Mazoyeres vineyard opposite Combottes and Latricières-Chambertin, close to Chrisophe’s Charmes but so different in profile with much deeper soils, giving bigger richer wines.
