A vineyard just below Chaume with more clay in the soils yielding full archetypal Chassagne. A little backward but in a good way. A coiled
energy sits at the core of the well-padded fruit. More minerally than usual this has verve and dimension, a cooler citrusy side to counterbalance the ripe, fleshy greengage and nectarine fruit. Full but lively and with character.
