Tasting Note:

The extremely old vines here suffered more during the dry summer than Chevillon’s other parcels, producing only, half a crop. The wine
is noticeably different than usual, offering more brawn and structure, intense spicy dark fruit flavour notes of bramble, loganberry,
currant and sloe. Particularly powerful, this will reward a few years longer in bottle than usual. A Nuits Premier Cru vineyard on the Vosne side of the appellation and thus usually one of the silkier and lighter wines of the Chevillon cellar.
