Tasting Note:

Charming, sensual fruit with high-toned summer berries including strawberry, cherry and rose petals. Ripe but lifted with a lovely fragrancy. More power on the palate versus the regular VV but this Chaignots is focused and linear with well-covered, smooth tannins and a core of compact acidity that will see it age well. A Nuits centred on red fruit, from the Vosne side of the appellation. A Nuits Premier Cru vineyard on the Vosne side of the appellation and thus usually one of the silkier and lighter wines of the Chevillon cellar.
