Tasting Note:

Probably one of the most backward wines in the cellar but also one of the most impressive. Dark cherry fruit with a mineral kick. Long edgy and complex. A thrilling burst of energy runs through this with a suave underlying note of creme de mûre. A first rate but lesser known 70 year-old Vosne vineyard that sits in the cool Combe d’Orveaux on the Chambolle side of the appellation directly above Echézeaux, facing east-north east. Aged in 50% new oak.
