Tasting Note:

Salty nutty and quietly intense. A certain sizzling confit lemon character as this sparks across the palate. But there’s length here too and plenty of energy with it. Less than half a normal crop produced.  An east facing plot right at the top of the hill, from vines planted in 1965 on very poor soils. Invariably a Corton Charlemagne of energy and racy precision. Aged in 60% new oak.
