Chris uses this age-old technique to produce an intellectually stimulating yet highly drinkable cuvee, that ranks alongside a wine like John William’s Frog’s Leap Zinfandel as one of the valley’s best value cuvees. Slightly wild at savoury at first, (perhaps even bretty), then crackling wild hedgerow fruit and fresh tea.
