Tasting Note:

Sweet pipe tobacco, iron, gravel, earth and cocoa frame an unbridled, almost savoury nose. A fine grained palate of wonderful texture and volume, with powerful but sweet tannins, plenty of rich dark, earthy fruit and spice, and then cocoa nib, olive and dark mulberry fruit on the finish. One of the most commanding Cain’s we can remember, but still entirely in the Cain five mould. Superb.
