Tasting Note:

Parading a textbook, classic Martha’s nose with Eucalyptus notes set over cassis and gentle spice, still retaining a note of sweet oak that will further integrate in time. On the palate this has a brightness, a nerve of fine acidity, some oak presence, sweet tannins, and the transparency and elegance so often found in traditionally made wines given extended ageing in wooden casks. Aromatically complex and also inviting with fantastic character and presence; there’s something of the new school/old school to this. Drink from 2020 onwards.
