Cabernet Sauvignon, Trailside Vineyard, Napa Valley, 2015

1 bottle
£99.17 per bottle

Tasting Note:

Hailing from a great Rutherford vineyard, nestled up against the Vaca mountains on the valley’s Eastern slopes, this is deeper than the NV cabernet, with red and darker fruit, a touch of mocha, red earth, a salty note, then savoury herb, sage and rosemary, charcuterie and hot dry roast herbs that are a textbook Trailside trait. The palate has real depth and structure, dark wild berry fruit, cracking stones, those wild herbs again and there's a seam of bright acidity cloaked in salty tense fruit and gripping tannins. This is very good but does need time. Best from 2025.
