Tasting Note:

Deeper in colour than Scallop shelf but still cherry red. Handsome layers of nuanced Pinot fruit and spice lead to a relatively powerful and mineral focussed palate with with brooding mulberry and Victoria plum fruit and an almost gevrey chambertin character to the finely grained tannins. This is perhaps the most youthful of the lot but there is great complexity appearing with air and a touch of that fine autumnal forest floor character on the finish that is lifted by great acidity and fine berry fruit finish. Great potential. 13.2%
