Tasting Note:

Pomarium is the most structured and savoury of the group of estate pinots. In the 2014 you find notes of mint, noble wood, sweet spice, anise and tea leaf alongside the dark wild fruits and a gentle wisp of smoke. Structurally this is brooding and reserved, the tannic profile quite clearly on display, but there’s also good purity and length. Complex, serious, mineral – if we were to impose Burgundian characteristics this would be the Pommard Rugiens of the group.
