Tasting Note:

Dark plum , spice, anise, blackberry , blackberry leaf, mocha chocolate and with air a little licorice - there are plenty of cool climate Syrah aromatics going on here. On the palate this is deep and dark but also lifted with chiseled tannins, a sense of crisp dark berry fruit, a touch of pepper, and fresh acidity, not unlike a young virile hermitage, though with just a touch of Californian radiance and sheen.
