    An extremely well-situated Monopole just below and adjacent to Clos des Lambrays that is planted on Premier Cru land. Aged in 50% new oak. As delicate and fine as ever, floral with lovely rose petal notes, the palate is elegant and juicy with flavours of summer red berries and a lovely fresh pique of acidity giving it definition.

    The 2016 Morey-Saint-Denis Clos des Rosiers is showing a little volatile bouquet that lacks cohesion. The palate is medium-bodied with dry tannin, moderate acidity but the finish is missing some flesh and body. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting.
