    Well-defined and gorgeously pure on the nose. Beautiful supple fruit on the palate; white fruits, fresh apricot and citrus zest. A roundness but also impressive depth and a fine freshness. Such lovely, cosmetic free material that will only grow with time in bottle as the fruit unfurls. Just charming. A north, north-east clay limestone Monopole vineyard of Domaine de la Folie with 40-year-old vines, fermented and aged in steel tanks only, no oak.

    The 2021 Rully Clos la Folie Blanc is vinified in stainless steel and was racked twice during its élevage. The nose is well-defined with red apple, desiccated orange peel and a touch of ginger. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, clean and precise with a touch of spice that enlivens the finish.
