    Pale cherry red with lovely clarity of aromas. A fragrant pure and elegant Bourgogne that is surprisingly fine grained, silky even. Touches of spice, lovely brightness and sense of kinetic energy. Harmonious, poised and very refined with touches of blood orange and spice on the finish. An old vine Bourgogne from the Vosne-Romanée commune.

    The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge has a light nose with tea leaf-infused red berry fruit, open-knit at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, quite taut, very approachable in style with a touch of black pepper on the slightly green finish. Fine.
