    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Ripe crunchy, fresh plum, cherry and berry fruits, a good firm tannic structure here, notes of crushed rocks and undergrowth. Rich but with an offsetting mineral dimension. A very stony vineyard that transmits this character to the wine with a very savoury, mineral almost flinty character. The vines are now 60 years old. Ghislaine was fortunate enough to buy this vineyard from Pousse d'or in 2009.

    Stephen Tanzer,
    Vinous
(these vines are now 65 years old): Moderately saturated, bright dark red. Ripe but reticent nose hints at red fruits. Supple and round but without quite the sweetness of the best 2014s here. Flavors of red cherry, redcurrant and spices are very Chambolle but I wanted some floral lift. Finishes with supple, broad tannins that turn a touch dry.
