Plums and sweet spices on the nose. Sleek and supple across the palate with a fine creamy quality to the fruit, soft skinned cherries with rosehip and a touch of sweet spice. Supple and charming with good depth, though all the while remaining translucent and luminous. A real success. A blend of two parcels, 80% les Barreaux and 20% aux Communes with vines up to 50 years old. Ageing is in 50% new oak barriques.
