    Justerini & Brooks Tasting note

Beautifully velvety, solid structure without being remotely overbearing, lively red fruit flavours of loganberry and raspberry infused with fresh herb notes. Refined but surprisingly dense, with a balanced 12.5 degrees of natural alcohol. A blend of Cotes Roties largely from the schist, south-east facing vineyards of the Verenay commune. Part whole bunch fermentation. Ageing is in oak barriques for at least 15 months with less than 15% new wood.

Deep ruby. Ripe red and dark berries on the perfumed nose, and subtle floral and peppery spice qualities building in the glass. Fleshy black currant and cherry compote flavors are enlivened by juicy acidity and complemented by a violet pastille nuance. Finishes with strong, sweet persistence and a hint of fine-grained tannins.
