Complex notes of Campari and blood orange provide a vivid bittersweet character in this very fine-grained, mineral and delicately spiced Pinot Noir from August Kesseler. A proportion of the top vineyards went into this in 2014 and the quality is evident. A touch more oak is employed than the Pinot N; all one to three year old barriques.
