Tasting Note:

Here a discreet whisp if toast and smoke, then an extra breadth and body, the result of the south facing, wind protected Bienenberg vineyard. On the palate slightly wilder fruit, a touch of spice, smoked meat and a plump red cherry element. A delicious juxtaposition between salty and rich, the keen edge of German Spatburgunder, with but the ripe pure fruit of a fine Burgundian pinot. Again, great transparency of flavours and persistence.
