Tasting Note:

Schlossberg is a steeply terraced vineyard composed of pure white limestone directly south facing and planted entirely to French Pinot clones. With compact wild red fruits and some darker notes set on a firm brooding core of complex stony minerality this is spicy, elemental and firm, with a finish of crisp blueberry, cherry and plum fruit and a note of sweet smoky spice on finish. Superb.
