Tasting Note:

The Hermannshohle nose smells very much like slate, smoke and salt and then beneath that, a peeking florality, with wonderful fresh rose and green apple. Emerging slowly from the glass it hits the palate and the flood of minerality is overwhelming, salty and mouth-watering with beautiful balance and huge persistence. This manages to be powerful, but also very beautifully constructed, complex and long with layered stones and fine orchard fruits. The structure, the internal building blocks here are sculptural and hugely impressive; a classic Hermannshohle.
