Tasting Note:

Clearly more richness than the Spatlese but just as racy and even more refined, this boasts complex flavours of nectarine apricot and crystalised citrus, ripe vital, and all in all a thoroughly accomplished Auslese. Fabulous. The Brucke is one of Donnhoff's cooler terroirs, its deep loamy soils make for Donnhoffs raciest wines, its a particularly regular producer of Eiswein quality grapes. Helmut Donnhoff enthuses about 2011 as "one of the best vintages, with some of the best quality of grapes I have ever seen, I don't see how they could have been better."
