Very healthy Spatlese grapes were used for this, containing little botrytis, engaging plum skin, nectarine and apricot fruit, sunny ripe yet zesty flavours, flroal attractive and brilliantly balanced. Helmut Donnhoff enthuses about 2011 as "one of the best vintages, with some of the best quality of grapes I have ever seen, I don't see how they could have been better."
