Tasting Note:

Fine acacia honey, white flowers, fresh apricot, then a fine driving line of slate below the very pure fruit. This is a good deal more cerebral than the straight Juffer Auslese, with an extra textural element that gives a drive and focus to the wine. Complex yet limpid, calm but very long. Lip stroking and lip smacking - a wine of dual personalities. Complex herb and spice notes creep in too. One could go on!
