Tasting Note:

A nose dominated by dry stones and grapefruit leads to a palate that is driven by complex minerals and strong suggestions of Juffer Sonnenuhr’s fractured blue/grey slate. While the flavours verge on the austere and the fruit very much in the background for now, the shape is anything but – totally ripe juicy acidity gives this GG a sense of luminosity without any sense of being hard, or ascetic. One of the driest wines ever produced here yet remarkably well balanced. Unquestionably a new PB for the BJS GG.
