Tasting Note:

A step up the strong wild spontaneous road, yes amongst those notes there are fine citrus zest notes and also something almost floral. it's an incredibly multifaceted nose; you could sit smelling this for hours. As the wine hits the palate those wild ferment aromas make way for a seam of slate minerality, almost like a knife across the palate slicing a groove that is immediately filled with taut citrus herb and salt notes that stud the very long finish. Serious stuff already. A decade in the cellar should produce something pretty extraordinary. The ungrafted vines for this bottling were planted in the 1930s.
