Tasting Note:

Sunshine, peaches and the smoky cut of flinty minerality. On palate elegant layers of fruit unfurl, with plenty of extract and tension giving control. There’s great ripeness here but also a definite contract in place between acidity, extract and fruit - they are all talking and in seamlessly interwoven. Very vinous and caressing and multi-layered. If you can lay these top Rebholz Weisserburgunders down for five years, wonderful wines of fine fruit, cream, smoke and minerality emerge. Something to drink while you’re waiting for your Riesling GGs to mature perhaps?
