The Weil skill at harvesting incredible noble sweet wines almost every year is well known and 2017 this BA is a beauty, but there's sadly very little to go around. Pungent with golden honey and rich dried apricot scents - you can smell the complex dried fruit elements long before the glass reaches your nose. Notes of dried fig, rock salt, smoky tea and sultana are held aloft in a suspension of zesty citrus fruit - an elixir of finely fruited sweetness that is so layered and complex it is easy to miss the remarkable purity and elegance.
