Tasting Note:

Aromatic ripe fruits, fruity and forthcoming but with a sharper focus and definition than usual. Crisp and refreshing without being austere. Wonderfully transparent and juicy raspberry and alpine strawberry fruit. Lithe and moreish. A blended Barolo of great pedigree. Made from a selection of grapes from 45 yo vines accross five different Crus from the Castiglione (30% percent) and Serralunga (70%) communes, a big part of which is Cerretta. The wines is aged in large slavonian oak "botti" / barrels, so there is very little oak influence on this wine.
