Tasting Note:

A little reticent and subdued on the nose; however, a little aeration coaxes out the fruit, revealing a palate of crisp, edgy but sweet red fruit infused with fresh herbal notes. Made from a selection of grapes from 45-year-old vines across five different Crus from the Castiglione (30% percent) and Serralunga (70%) communes. The wine is aged in large Slavonian oak "botti" / barrels, so there is very little oak influence.
