Tasting Note:

A first class single vineyard from Serralunga whose wines show the commune’s telltale signs of liquorice spice. A nose dominated by liquorice and espresso, sweeter, less red fruit than the Bricco Fiasco, multi-layered, deep, dark, brooding and spicy, dense but smooth ripe tannins covered in fleshy velvety fruits, notes of hedgerow berry, currant and sloe. Stunning.
