Sweetly- scented, red and dark berry fruit, touches of strawberry and rose, juicy accessible flavours, intense and clear with a gentle edge and grip. A haunting, refined Barbaresco that offers a stunning mix of gravitas and finesse. One of the great crus of Barbaresco, this south-west facing vineyard makes some of the more powerful and robust of Barbarescos. Fermentation is long and slow, lasting up to 45 days, the wine is then aged for 24 months in large, old Slavonian oak casks.
