Tasting Note:

The most profound and rewarding Cabernet Franc Duemani have made. Multi layered flavours of loganberry, bramble cherry, dried herb and woody spices with warming notes of fruit liqueur. Deceptively smooth and alluring because this certainly has intensity. The fruit is rich and sumptuous without being heavy. Beautifully balanced all the way through to a very long finish. Cabernet Franc seems to have found a new home, on the Tuscan coast. Duemani’s owners Elena Celli and Luca d’Attoma were the first to realise the potential of this grape here and produced a 100% Cabernet Franc, named after the estate. Now this trend seems to have caught on with others in the region doing the same. Biodynamically farmed. Fermented and aged for 18 months in 80 percent new oak. Rarely more than 6000 bottles are made.
