Tasting Note:

Bright, clear red in both colour and fruit profile, classic but that is not to say too austere; modern classic perhaps. A Barolo packed with wonderfully juicy svelte fruit – redcurrant, raspberry and wild strawberry flavours underpinned by an earthy stone, mineral and undergrowth complexity, the fruit is ripe but very crisp and refreshing. In contrast to the Langhe Arborina (which is aged in new barrels only for a shorter period of time) this is reared in 20% new oak barrels for two years.
