Typical bold and corpulent in true Arborina style yet with a class and refinement rarely seen from the wines of this vineyard. This must be the most complete and captivating example the Altares have ever made. Explosive and open-knit, mouth filling flavours but despite this the tannins are supremely well-defined and there is a brilliance and brightness to the fruit. An intense palate bursting with flavours of herb, dried rose, fresh cherry, garriguettes and kirsch. Profound and phenomenally long.
