Altare's flagship, the 2012 is one of the prettiest, purest examples of this we can remember tasting. Tight-grained, firm focused and racy. Delicious, small, intense, red berry fruit, gripping very gently austere with a wonderful sweetness and cherry blossom perfume. Finishing with such brightness and clarity. Aged for 24 months in 20% new oak.
