Tasting Note:

The same wine as the Langhe Arborina but from the 2012 vintage onwards wine law stipulates that this vineyard name can only be used for Barolo. Hence the new name Giarborina. Nothing has changed in the winemaking. Clear sweet red fruit nose, ripe seductive yet extremely bright and refreshing. There is a gentle astringence offsetting the fragrant, sweet red berry and rose-tinged fruit. Gripping poised and vital. A Nebbiolo from the Arborina vineyard aged for 18 months in new oak barriques and released a year earlier than Barolo.
