Tasting Note:

Aromatically quite closed but with a faint and very pretty floral element. The palate is equally reticent but there is an excellent, tight, crisp structure reinforcing the highly-charged stony, mineral cherry and red plum fruit. Masculine but linear in style. Impressive though needs to unwind a little. A steep, south-east facing Castiglione vineyard with a touch of sand in the clay soils giving fresh, fragrant, elegant wines. Aged in large used oak casks for three years.
