Tasting Note:

Dense, powerful but creamy in texture. This wine is an extremely fine balancing act of intense fruit, structure and roundness together with the wonderful vibrancy of the vintage, offering fantastic, uplifting flavours of raspberry, red cherry, kirsch, earth mineral and cocoa. Excellent, one of the most complete La Morra Barolos there is. Fermented and aged in the same way as the Giachini; short maceration in steel tanks followed by malolactic and ageing in 50% new oak, yet this is so very different in style; often broader, more muscular and less floral.
