Tasting Note:

As ever such a different style to the more perfumed Villero. Full and broad-shouldered, archetypal Barolo. Complex and brawny with as much savoury earthiness as it has fruit. Notes of undergrowth, herb smoke and wonderfully juicy dark hedgerow fruit. A west-south west facing vineyard from the Monforte d’Alba commune that produces powerful, muscular Barolos typical of the area Aged for 36 months large ok vats.
