Tasting Note:

Juicy, high-toned and intense. Vibrant and elegant but not without substance. Salt-flecked , crisp red berry notes with scents of fresh-cut flowers. A beauty. A large south-west facing vineyard within the Castiglione Falleto commune where the soils can vary a lot. By and large it is clay dominant. However Mascarello have a particularly sandy parcel, giving the resulting wine a tendency towards softness and floral fruit. Aged for 36 months in large oak vats.
