Tasting Note:

Good concentration of fruit, quite grainy tannins holding together the fresh strawberry, redcurrant and loganberry fruit. A hint of bramble and rosehip. Tight-knit, chiselled and fresh. A blend of Neive vineyards. 90% Basarin, a stony and south facing site, and 10% Moccagata, which is sand and clay-based and west facing. The vines average 60 years old. After a two month submerged cap fermentation the wines are then aged in used Slavonian oak casks of 20-50hl for 24 months.
