Tasting Note:

One of Marengo's greatest Bricco Violes. This vineyard, called the "Top of the Violet Hill", always produces a very fine and aromatic wine. In 2001 its hallmark perfume and delicacy is aligned to ample, boisterous fruit characteristics, set in a solid tannic framework. Delicious and playful, this boasts clear, bright juicy cherry fruit and mineral flavours, together with hints of bitter sweet dark chocolate.
