Tasting Note:

Aromas of ripe red fruits mixed with sweet spice, cedar and sap touches. This is so complete, the fruit is ethereal but there are some more grounded, earthier notes too. Profound, intense and refined this has super length of flavour. Long sweet summer berries set in a backdrop of spice, undergrowth and minerals. A tour de force. One of the top Cru vineyards of Barolo, situated high up in the La Morra commune. Aged in 25% new oak barriques for 24 months, however the intensity and power of this wine mean that the oak influence on it is minimal.
