Tasting Note:

Voluptuous, enveloping and ample but without being over the top. Classy and profound, this offers a myriad of bold, dark hedgerow and forest fruit flavours with an added savoury dimension of undergrowth, cinnamon and cooling minerals. Big and very beautiful. This is the same wine as the Vecchie Vigne only since the 2009 vintage it is now released as a Riserva, a change purely in name only. Only 800 bottles were made.
